Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering a unique opportunity to work one day per week, dedicating your expertise to deliver essential direct therapy services.

As a valued Physical Therapy professional, your responsibilities will include carrying out comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations, completing IEP paperwork, and actively engaging in IEP meetings to help shape student plans for optimal growth and progress. Ideal Qualifications and Background:

• Active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina
• Minimum of a master’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric care
• Previous service in school settings preferred
• Familiarity and experience with the EDPlan SC IEP program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services once weekly
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations for student needs
• Complete IEP paperwork efficiently and accurately
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams and families
• Ensure documentation aligns with all standards and deadlines
• Maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Manage approximately 27 hours of service per month
