Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this position, you’ll provide direct therapy services to students for the 2026-2027 school year. As a trusted resource, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, help students achieve their goals, and work within a supportive team setting.

Your role will focus on delivering services one day per week, dedicating about 27 hours each month to support student progress and compliance with IEP goals. Expect to contribute your expertise by assessing student needs, completing necessary evaluations and reevaluations, preparing IEP documentation, and actively participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in South Carolina
• Minimum of a master’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Prior experience as a practicing Physical Therapist
• Demonstrated pediatric care background
• Previous work in a school setting highly desired
• Proven knowledge using the EDPlan SC IEP program

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, fostering developmental and functional growth
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and necessary reevaluations
• Complete IEP paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Participate in IEP meetings as a key member supporting students’ educational plans
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure holistic care
