Overview
Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Colorado Springs, CO. Most positions are first shift with a pay scale of $30-35/hour based on experience & skill level with Travel Work Available. If you are a Structural Sitck Welders and want to work alongside other proven Craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior workmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Support crane repair and installation work inside steel mills
- Work on cranes and bridge components
- Structural stick welding on cranes and related components
- Repair and installation of overhead cranes inside active steel mills
- Work performed to AWS D14.1 standards (cranes & bridges)
- Reading and working from blueprints and weld symbols
- Performing repairs, modifications, and some fabrication as needed
- Taking direction from a supervisor and working independently without constant oversight
Requirements:
- AWS D14.1 Certification required; must have already or able to obtain it
- Structural Stick Welding Experience
- Fabrication experience is a plus
- Comfortable working in industrial/steel mill environments2+ Years of Experience in the Field
- Basic Tools for the Trade
- Proper PPE must be worn: Have your own Hood and Gloves/Leathers
