General Manager – Holiday Inn Express Roseville/Lincoln, CA

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and highly accountable General Manager to lead the hotel to IHG brand excellence and ownership performance expectations. Position Summary

The General Manager oversees all hotel operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and brand compliance. This role requires a visible leader who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, develops high‐performing teams, and consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences while protecting the asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience Leadership — Deliver exceptional service to guests and associates; resolve escalated concerns promptly and professionally.
• Operational Excellence — Identify performance gaps, implement corrective measures, and maintain IHG brand standards across all departments.
• Financial & Reporting Oversight — Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including forecasting, labor control, revenue analysis, and expense management.
• Business Planning — Develop annual budgets, business plans, and operational strategies in partnership with ownership.
• Revenue Management — Apply strong revenue management principles to maximize ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, and channel mix.
• Sales Leadership — Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales action steps; build local relationships; lead the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
• Cost Controls — Maintain strict cost control procedures to maximize monthly and annual profitability.
• Preventative Maintenance — Protect the hotel asset through a proactive preventative maintenance program and oversight of engineering.
• Team Development — Recruit, train, coach, and develop associates to build a strong, service‐driven culture.
• Administrative Compliance — Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, audits, banking, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 years of General Manager experience in a select‐service or limited‐service hotel
• Premium‐brand experience required; IHG strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage budgets, labor, financial performance, and operational KPIs
• Knowledge of local competition and market trends
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• Holiday Inn Express brand experience
• F&B or breakfast program oversight experience
• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality, Business, or related field
