If you are thinking about making a change, give us a shout.General Description:Supports the company by performing installations, testing, repair, inspection and maintenance of fire alarm protection systems and equipment.Essential Functions- including but not limited to:Perform installation, testing, repair, inspections, troubleshooting and programming as applicable, on fire alarm systems and equipment in compliance with electrical and fire safety codes.Ensure systems are functioning correctly and address any issues that arise.Ensure that all systems meet local and national fire safety regulations.Complete inspection reports and repair work orders via mobile device and submit them on a timely basis.Ability to read blueprints.Pull materials for jobs as required.Maintain truck inventory when applicable.Communicate with customers review work and answer any service, quality or technical questions.Other job specific functions may be required depending on level.Serve on the on-call emergency service rotation.General Functions:This position includes a lot of interaction with customers and coworkers. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Must be able to obtain any licenses or certifications as required in the area that you are working.Experience working with fire protection and suppression systems is required.Perform simple tasks independently.Excellent customer service skills.Computer, phone and tablet literate.Well organized, self-motivated, flexible and a team player.Must be able to drive to and from jobs and have a valid driver's license.Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.Emergency Service shifts are a requirement for this job.
