Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Includes weekend and holiday coverage. Patient ratio of 4:1.

• Level IV Trauma Center with Acute Stroke Ready designation and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department certification
• High-volume department serving approximately 45,000 patients annually with 140 daily census
• State-of-the-art facility with 40 exam rooms plus 19 vertical care spaces, with flex capacity for surge management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Epic charting system required; 20 hours of orientation provided
• Travel assignment with floating required across the health system as needed
• Free onsite parking available

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and TNCC certifications required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall passing score
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
