Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
• (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
• Experience working with preschool children or early childhood programs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to differentiation, inclusivity, and positive behavioral approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific goals and needs
• Deliver instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings, adapting materials as needed
• Utilize assessments and data to monitor progress, adjusting strategies as students grow
• Foster a nurturing, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and family members to support student success
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
