This firm offers a wonderful culture, work/life balance, generous compensation and benefit package with unlimited room for growth for the perfect incoming Tax Manager.Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:Oversee and train a team of highly motivated staff accountants/tax accountantsProvide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clientsOversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industriesMaintain strong relationships with clientsBe a hands-on leaderBe the bridge between the Partners & StaffExperience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or EquivalentMaster of Science and Taxation degree (highly desirable)CPA Certificate required (Open to an EA with the right skill set)A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in public accounting. Experience in Audit & or Business Advisory is highly desired.Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client serviceMust have strong multi-tasking skillsMust have strong leadership skillsMust be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy seasonApplicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsCompensation for the Tax Manager:Benefits: Simple IRA w/ 3% match & Major Holiday's Paid10 days of PTO/ year + 1 PTO day accrual/ monthStrong work and life balanceNo required minimum billable hours
