Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design process through all phases of healthcare and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare design, exceptional space planning abilities, and extensive experience preparing construction documents, coordinating FF&E, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a creative leader who can develop innovative design solutions, mentor junior designers, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead interior design projects from programming and concept development through construction administration. Develop innovative and functional design solutions for healthcare and commercial facilities. Conduct client programming sessions, space planning, and design charrettes. Prepare presentation materials, design concepts, and client presentations. Produce and coordinate construction documents, interior detailing, and specifications. Develop and manage FF&E selections, specifications, and procurement documentation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure design intent is maintained. Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA standards, and healthcare regulations. Participate in project proposals, interviews, and business development efforts. Mentor and guide junior designers while promoting design excellence. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. 10–15+ years of professional interior design experience. Extensive experience with space planning, programming, and interior detailing. Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Strong knowledge of construction documentation and interior specifications. Experience developing FF&E packages and finish selections. Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills. Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior staff. Strong organizational and time-management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
