This role reports into Senior Vice President leading the function. As part of this role, you will partner closely with our executive team, including the CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, to identify and execute inorganic opportunities.Key Responsibilities: Identify compelling inorganic opportunities to accelerate Expedia Group’s strategy, spanning mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, and divestituresPrepare thoughtful, comprehensive and cross-functional business cases to discuss the opportunity with our senior executive team and board of directorsExecute transactions, drive due diligence and negotiate key termsPartner with key internal leaders to ensure successful post-deal integration of the target and value realization for Expedia GroupMentor and coach junior members of our Corporate Development teamExperience and Qualifications: 10+ years of M&A experience across reputed investment banking firms or equivalent experience at large public companiesProven track record in leading transactions end to endStrong financial analysis and modeling skillsCommercially savvy, with proven ability to think creatively and on the feetStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsExperience in travel industry preferred but not mandatoryMBA strongly preferredPlease note this role is available in Seattle and follows our flexible work model, which requires three in-office days a week. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $269,000.00 to $376,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $430,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
