Position Summary JRP is seeking a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fueling equipment, tank monitoring systems, and related equipment at customer and company locations. This is a field-based position that extends well beyond traditional building maintenance. Responsibilities include maintaining fueling equipment, coordinating tank deliveries, installing and servicing tank monitoring systems, performing customer equipment repairs, supporting facility maintenance, and responding to service calls throughout the region. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically skilled, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate and execute customer tank deliveries and equipment installations. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot tank monitoring systems, including SmarTank equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections at cardlock fueling locations. Diagnose and repair fuel pumps, hoses, nozzles, fixtures, and other fueling equipment. Perform general building maintenance, light electrical work, landscaping, and facility repairs. Respond to equipment failures, service calls, petroleum spills, and other emergency situations. Deliver equipment, parts, and materials to customer and company locations as needed. Complete work orders, inspections, service documentation, and maintenance records using company systems. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and tank monitoring components. Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate repairs and project activities. Represent JRP professionally while working at customer sites, fueling facilities, company locations, and other assigned properties. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency support outside of normal business hours. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of maintenance, mechanical, facilities, or related experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required. Basic electrical knowledge preferred. Experience performing equipment repairs, facility maintenance, or fueling equipment maintenance preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings. Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying physical positions throughout the workday. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely load, unload, and transport equipment and materials. Primarily field-based with regular travel to customer sites, fueling facilities, and company locations. Standard hours are generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; however, schedules may vary based on workload, projects, and emergency service needs. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required. Regular exposure to outdoor environments, fueling equipment, construction areas, and industrial settings. Frequent travel throughout the service area using company vehicles.
