Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient vital signs accurately.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care and updates in electronic health records using Epic.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Float within scope to support unit needs and maintain staffing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active SC license or Compact license prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience.
  
  
• 
  Be BLS certified through a recognized organization.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in using Epic charting system.
  
  
• 
  Willing to work night shifts and every other weekend.
  
  
• 
  Able to provide proof of application or valid licensure for SC, if pending.
