Principal Cybersecurity Architect

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture, along with 10+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience in cybersecurity architecture that can be applied and reused across functions and systems.
• We expect demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in cybersecurity architecture and engineering workflows, with strong validation discipline and awareness of data sensitivity.
• We need the ability to assess and confirm AI-assisted security recommendations and AI-enabled design patterns before adoption, escalating uncertainty and ensuring alignment with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
• We require fluency in one or more programming languages.
• We expect deep knowledge of software and/or applications, including advanced understanding of software architecture, application development, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines such as public cloud, AI/ML, or mobile.
• We look for experience applying expertise and new approaches to solve complex architecture challenges in one or more technical disciplines.
• We need strong communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to senior leaders and executives.
• We value the ability to advise with business context and maintain awareness of the latest risk trends in internal and external environments.
• We prefer experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager.

• We advise cross-functional teams on technology choices to reach the target-state cybersecurity posture and improve current cybersecurity controls.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in our work environment to speed up cybersecurity architecture analysis, threat and risk assessment, and roadmap decisions, while validating outputs and managing data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
• We develop multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities and architecture strategy.
• We build complex, scalable coding frameworks on the public cloud for new system design patterns and process templates, creating durable reusable software frameworks that improve speed and quality across teams and functions.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We serve as the teams primary subject matter expert, lead thought leadership within the product line, and help shape technical cybersecurity methods in line with the latest product development practices.
• We drive reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted security validation within SDLC and toolchain routines, improving control testing, remediation quality, traceability, auditability, and resiliency.
