Accounts Receivable Specialist
\n \nTemporary to Hire Role with our client west of Pittsburgh.
\nWorkplace Type: On-site
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Process customer invoicing, cash applications, and payment postings accurately and in a timely manner \n
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records \n
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and other exception items \n
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and assist with collection activities for past-due accounts \n
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues \n
- Maintain organized and complete AR documentation, including tenant files and cash receipt records \n
- Monitor AR aging and support efforts to keep accounts current \n
- Follow established company procedures, policies, and escalation processes \n
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment \n
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience \n
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) preferred \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting or finance experience will also be considered \n
- Experience with invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections \n
- Basic understanding of billing terms, AR aging, and cash application workflows \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills \n
