Job Title: Environmental Technician Job Description

Join a dynamic team working at a cutting-edge site in North Phoenix as an Environmental Technician. This role offers the chance to work in a structured environment while gaining valuable experience and skills.

• Escort Service: Drive a company vehicle to the work site location while a tanker truck follows, observing the loading and unloading of chemicals.
• Janitorial Duties: Perform general clean-up tasks, including taking out dry trash and replacing bins with new liners.
• Move Chemicals: Use drum dolly and pallet jacks to move 55-gallon drums, load a box truck, separate chemicals according to type, and take inventory.

• Valid driver's license
• GED or High School Diploma
• Ability to follow instructions and processes

• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification (training provided if not currently certified)
• Experience in general labor, janitorial, cleaning, loading, and chemical handling
• Sweeping and use of pallet jack

The work site is located in North Phoenix, with shifts scheduled Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday, or Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday, from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The environment involves working in the Fab, loading and unloading drums, and includes both indoor and outdoor tasks. All necessary personal protective equipment, such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and chemical apron, will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PHOENIX, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
