Data Analyst IV
Our client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Data Analyst IV for their Burbank, CA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
- Will need to understand the current landscape – interviewing teams to get understanding
- More autonomous 70/30 – they need to recreate the documents on how things were currently and then implement new ways
- Key projects:
- Consumer product systems support – modernizing the contract management system.
- They will be analyzing data that's integrated in sub systems and redesign how it can be used in new systems.
- Purpose of this team:
- Handle contract management and analytic system WB games data.
- Value Proposition:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- Experience with database technologies.
- Knowledge of the ETL process.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated history of success.
- Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
- 10+ years of experience
- 6-10+ years of experience
- Technology requirements:
- SQL server
- How integrations work (how data is integrated through ETL and API)
- Degree or certifications required:
- Bachelors required in CS or Engineering
- Data certifications are nice to have
- Years experience:
- 10 years minimum – to understand the analysis
- Required background/Skillsets:
- Any industry is fine as long as the data experience is there
- Focused on integrations, need data mapping experience –
- Data architect experience
- Skill: proficient in data base tech
- Application: snowflake, SQL server
- Skill: understanding of integration technologies
- Skill: understanding of analytical environment
