Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact by providing dedicated nursing support to a male student as a 1:1 LPN or RN. This contracted opportunity is located near Lowell, MA, and involves working closely with an Out of District student, ensuring his well-being during the school day and transportation. The assignment is expected to run through the remainder of the 25/26 school year, includes the summer session, and will likely extend into the fall semester, with potential continuation into the 26/27 school year. You’ll enjoy a regular weekly schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Massachusetts nursing certificate (LPN or RN)
• Experience with pediatric, school-based, or 1:1 nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and compassion for working with students needing individualized care
• Comfortable providing support during transportation to and from school
• Ability to commit to the expected schedule through at least December 23, 2026, with possible extension

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering direct nursing care for a male student on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day and during transportation
• Monitoring student’s health status and responding to medical needs as necessary
• Collaborating with school staff, teachers, and parents to support the student’s individual health plan and academic success
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes or concerns in a timely manner
