We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close cycle, and delivering reliable reporting for business leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively across departments. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys improving processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Record and review journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments that support complete and accurate financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, investigate unusual activity, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial schedules and assist with recurring management reports that help monitor business performance.
• Review transaction activity across cash, fixed assets, payables, receivables, and related accounting areas to maintain ledger integrity.
• Partner with operational teams and internal stakeholders to research accounting questions and support issue resolution.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis to support planning and decision-making.
• Organize audit support materials, respond to documentation requests, and assist with annual audit and compliance-related activities.
• Recommend and implement improvements that strengthen internal controls, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Provide guidance to less experienced accounting team members and support special projects as business needs arise.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including substantial exposure to the month-end close process.
• Strong command of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Proven ability to analyze account activity, identify variances, and resolve issues with a high level of accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including tools used for reporting, analysis, and data organization.
• Experience working with accounting or ERP systems in a finance environment that requires strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
