Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Demonstrated experience teaching English language arts
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and students
• Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in special education, is highly valued
• Adaptability and creativity in using differentiated instruction methods

Principal Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized and group English instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to support student growth
• Maintain instructional records, progress notes, and reports according to school and district guidelines
• Participate actively in professional development and team meetings
