What You’ll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with varying needs. Your work will help empower them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day might include:
- Assisting individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to ensure a positive and enriching environment.
- Monitoring and documenting progress to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Collaborating with team members and families to create a supportive network for those in your care.
We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, empathetic approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
