Data & AI Solution Architect

Role Description

We are looking for a Data & AI Solution Architect to design enterprise data models, semantic architectures, and conversational AI solutions that enable trusted analytics and scalable data products across the organization. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You'll Do

• Create enterprise data models (ERDs), semantic architectures using Databricks Metric Views, and Databricks Genie solution architectures to support trusted data products, self-service analytics, and conversational AI.
• Design solution architectures for modern data and AI platforms on Databricks.
• Define and promote enterprise standards for data products, data modelling, Medallion Architecture, DBT, Unity Catalog, and data engineering.
• Create reusable architecture patterns, reference designs, and implementation guidance for HUB & SPOKE teams.
• Design semantic models and architecture patterns that enable trusted analytics and Databricks Genie conversational AI.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, office hours, and technical coaching to guide teams in delivering solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong experience with Databricks, DBT, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, semantic modelling, Medallion Architecture, and data product design.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to guide delivery teams in adopting enterprise architecture standards.

Requirements

• Preferred: Experience designing semantic layers using Databricks Metric Views.
• Preferred: Experience enabling analytics or conversational AI with Databricks Genie.

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
