RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts
• Circulate procedures in IR/IN and care for patients in prep/recovery phase
• Must respond to hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized and completed pre-start (non-billable, average 6-15 hours)
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• Required skills include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, and radiation and laser safety
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• First-time travelers accepted

This facility is a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital that maintains smoke-free policies and operates with modern technology including EPIC charting systems. The healthcare organization provides comprehensive interventional radiology services and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized clinical tracks for IR nursing. The facility offers free parking and operates under strict compliance requirements to ensure quality care delivery.
