Biomedical Technician I - Atlanta, GA

Job Summary Biomedical Technician in Atlanta, GA, will respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system, evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing biomedical equipment to deliver reliable service and support healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements, and ensure documentation of all work performed is captured. Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers to ensure resolution, proper follow‑up, and ongoing satisfaction. Maintain proper care of tools and test equipment to ensure calibration and timely, accurate repairs/maintenance. Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization to uphold the highest ethical standards. Basic Qualifications Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, or participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR high school diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT, or mechanical equipment. Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro‑mechanical devices. Experience interpreting schematic diagrams. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Availability for after‑hours and/or rotating on‑call schedule, including weekends. Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
