Position Overview

• Coverage: 7 days per week (Full-Time Need)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services exclusively for Obstetrics

• Inpatient OB coverage only

• Collaborate with inpatient OB hospitalist team

• Ensure high-quality maternal care in a hospital-based setting

• Utilize medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy support services

Schedule Details

• 24-hour in-house call shifts

• Weekend coverage as needed

• Full-time locum coverage requirement

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• Specialized in Obstetrics (Required)

• Active Iowa Medical License

• NPDB Self-Query (within required timeframe)

• ️ Clean malpractice & background history
