36 or 48 hours per week, Days/Evenings/Nights, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Job Description

This position focuses on the care of women and healthy newborns, emphasizing education and passionate support for mother-baby couples. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, fellow nurses, and social workers to provide the highest quality care in a culture of teamwork that values integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
• Educate and support mother-baby couples to promote health and well-being.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care quality.
• Participate in on-call duties and respond to patient needs on weekends and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York (NY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of postpartum experience required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification is required.
• Fetal monitoring certification is preferred.
