Job Description

Join our team and assist engineers and technicians in various tasks while gaining valuable experience. This role requires the ability to travel extensively and perform routine maintenance on specialized equipment. You will be responsible for providing written updates at the end of each shift and managing material usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist a team of engineers and technicians with various tasks.

• Travel 90% of the time, including outside the Maryland region as needed.

• Perform routine cleaning of specialized equipment.

• Provide and send written updates at the end of each shift.

• Track and account for the usage of all materials throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

• Experience in PIM testing and sweep testing.

• Proficiency in using spectrum analyzers.

• Ability to troubleshoot RF issues.

• Strong communication skills via phone and email.

• Organized with the ability to follow a schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Previous maintenance experience and equipment knowledge preferred.

• Adaptability to changing schedules or routines.

• Ability to work well alone and with a team.

• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with a desire to grow.

Work Environment

The position requires working from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday through Friday. Employees are expected to report to the Lanham office before traveling to job sites, typically airports or data centers. Candidates must be able to travel extensively, primarily within the Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and DC areas, using their personal vehicles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lanham, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr.
