Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Role Overview: This position involves providing independent, comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. The nurse is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, including complex and routine treatments. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional standards and competencies. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers. Delegate and assign tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. BLS certification required.
