Registered Nurse (RN) ICU

$20,000 sign‑on bonus eligibility! Position Registered Nurse (RN) ICU – Days Schedule & Location 12‑hour shifts, full‑time (36 hrs/week) with every other weekend. 7 A‑7 P. In‑person location. Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patient/family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Qualifications Basic Requirements Current VA or compact state license. Associate’s degree in nursing. Additional Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. American Heart Association Basic Life Support. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of employment. Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
