Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and specific needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, ensuring alignment with patients' goals and objectives. Implement therapy programs utilizing various modalities and techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education. Regularly measure and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions, treatments provided, and outcomes achieved. Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment by adhering to infection control policies and reporting any hazards to management. Participate in team meetings and clinical rounds to discuss patient care strategies and share insights with colleagues. Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and self-management techniques to promote long-term health. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus At Adage Physical Therapy Clinic, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. You will engage with patients of all ages, tailoring your approaches to meet their specific rehabilitation needs and enhancing their overall well-being. Qualifications A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California. Certification in CPR/BLS, with a continual commitment to maintaining current skills. A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred but new graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply. Experience with specific patient populations such as geriatrics or pediatrics is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
