Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide skilled physical therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients, ensuring optimal recovery and functional outcomes. This position involves working on a 42-bed integrated rehab unit in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer individualized physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing equipment such as treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes.
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure patient safety and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Participate in weekend rotations and support unit operations during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Physical Therapy license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR and therapy-related equipment.
• Be certified in BLS along with current and active CPR certification.
• Have experience treating orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurological, and general medical/surgical conditions.
