In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Drive sales growth within the data center market.
• Identify develop and close new business opportunities with owners operators engineers contractors and channel partners.
• Build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
• Conduct direct sales calls as appropriate to drive the objectives of the business
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business updates.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to develop account and market growth strategies.
• Influence project specifications and position Emerson solutions early in the sales cycle.
• Monitor market trends customer needs and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with marketing on industry events webinars and demand-generation activities.
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business updates.
• Represent Emerson at customer meetings industry conferences and trade events.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in Business Engineering a Technical Field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years business development or sales experience with consistent track record of success.
• Experience driving sales growth in a business-to-business environment.
• Strong relationship-building communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop sales strategies based on customer needs and market trends.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and CRM tools.
• Requires 50 -70% travel time

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience in the data center critical infrastructure electrical automation or industrial technology markets.
• Knowledge of power distribution thermal management automation networking or related technologies.
• Experience working with consulting engineers contractors distributors and end users.
• Proven success developing and growing strategic customer relationships.
• MBA or advanced business degree.

The salary range for this role is $ 120000 -140000 plus bonus commensurate with the skills talentcapabilities and experience each candidate brings to the role.
