Role: CRM Manager, 1:1 Fan Engagement Marketing

Notes from the client:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and planning CRM customer journeys.
• Determining audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
• Defining channel strategy across email, mobile push, and other CRM channels.
• Partnering with creative, copy, project management, and production teams to execute campaigns.
• Ensuring all campaign components are aligned before deployment.

This is a strategic planning role, not a campaign-building role or not a Project Manager role . The individual must own the marketing strategy and customer engagement planning, rather than simply coordinating timelines and campaign execution activities.

While familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Braze, Epsilon, or Adobe is valuable, the primary requirement is experience with developing CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies rather than building campaigns within those systems.

Targeting candidates with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) marketing backgrounds, particularly from industries such as sports, media, entertainment, subscriptions, streaming, or consumer products. Candidates with primarily B2B marketing experience are less likely to be a fit.

Job descriptions:

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute marketing journeys from initial strategy review to deployment with a focus on outbound marketing channels (e.g. email, SMS, push, onsite/app).
2. Define business requirements for marketing campaigns including but not limited to audience, channel, flighting, and measurement details.
3. Optimize campaign targeting, flighting, and targets using insights and analytics.
4. Organize and maintain digital materials, calendars, deadlines, risks across various orchestration and project management platforms.
5. Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors to understand strategy, articulate campaign results, and delegate next steps accordingly.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of similar or relevant work experience.
2. Deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape and experience with relevant digital marketing technologies (personalization, data platform, analytics, orchestration).
3. Passionate about digital strategy, digital transformation, marketing automation
4. Familiarity with Adobe platform (AEP, AJO, CJA) a plus.
