Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,721 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Shifts 7A-7P/ 13 Weeks 

Position - TRAVEL - RN GYN (626) / MC Dallas / 7A-7P (1013065)

Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• 2+ Years of Hospital Experience
• BLS Required
• M/S Experience Preferred

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:

• GYN & GYN Oncology preferred
• Meditech Experience Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN/LVN/Tech)

• Active TX RN License – Temp License will NOT be accepted

Procedures performed on unit: 

• Surgical Post Op floor & M/S – No procedures

Patient Experience Required:

• Timely Rounding
• Bedside Shift report
• Keep white boards updated and explain grades
• Listen to patient

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color
• RN: Royal Blue w/ embroidery
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
• Other – 

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Floating Guidelines: Float to M/S / Oncology units.
• Attendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
