RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Ortho/Neuro Trauma (Charge)

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Location: 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132

Project Duration: Full Time /Permanent

Shift Timing: Nights (7p-7a) Rotating Weekends

Sign on bonus: Case by Case Basis

Relocation assistance: Case by Case

Candidates must be comfortable with the nurse to patient ratio of 6:1.

What qualifications you will need:

• Needs to have strong current acute care experience within the Med-Surg. They prefer someone who has been a charge RN in acute care in MedSurg either that or someone who has been a staff RN for at least two years on a MedSurg unit and it needs to be recent so they wouldn't look at someone who did MedSurg like five years ago it needs to be someone who is doing it currently to go into a CNC role.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
