The Goddard School of Collierville offers a premium educational experience in one of the area's highest rated preschool programs. We are committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that will allow every child to develop into a joyful and confident learner prepared for success in school and in life. We are currently seeking a lead teacher for our preschool program ages 3-4.


Our lead teachers report to the School Director and are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of their assigned classrooms. Teachers provide a safe, nurturing learning environment and implement our proprietary Wonder of Learning curriculum, the most innovative and well-rounded early childhood education program, created by award-winning early childhood development experts. Teachers communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Here you have the support of a full administrative team and 30+ other childcare professionals where you can continue to grow in your profession.


Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) required if no degree
• Minimum 1 year of previous lead teacher experience
• Ability to learn and implement Goddard curriculum and assessment systems and TN Department of Human Resources policies
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Ability to multi-task, work cooperatively and manage challenges professionally
• Meets background check eligibility and additional State of Tennessee and Goddard training requirements

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
