Fire Alarm Installer

Job requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months - 2 years of experience in commercial installation of electrical products (Lead Tech opening for 3+ years of experience).
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
- Intermediate knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72 installation requirements.
- Experience in termination of field devices. - State and locally required minimum certifications.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently with some supervision.
- Good organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
- Be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade, including frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, maximum occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; able to work from heights and climb ladders; standing and walking for most of the workday.
- Ability to travel occasionally overnight, as needed.
- Ability to work onsite in Winter Haven, FL (Monday-Friday. 7AM-4PM or 8AM-5PM).
Day to Day:
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Installer to support a large commercial building project in Winter Haven. This role will assist with the installation of fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for the following:
- Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security.
- Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
- Install all types of electrical conduit.
- Troubleshoot circuit opens, shorts, or ground conditions.
- Install and run wires, wire devices, fish walls, and doors.
- Complete paperwork, including but not limited to timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
- Keeps as-built drawings current.
- Comply with standards and procedures of industry safety programs/policies.
Compensation: $20-$25/ hour plus benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k).
