The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic judgment, emotional intelligence, and a deep commitment to the values and mission of the organization. While there is no specific pathway to this role, the successful CEO will have the experience, presence, and maturity necessary to align with the organization's scale, community standing, and values. As the CEO, the primary responsibilities will include providing overall leadership, ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the organization, and maintaining alignment with mission, values, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. This role involves close partnership with the Board and senior leadership team to set and advance organizational strategy, oversee the execution of the strategic plan, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. The CEO will also be tasked with positioning the organization to effectively respond to emerging opportunities and challenges, all while managing a complex, multi-service organization with a large and diverse workforce and a funding structure that is significantly reliant on public reimbursement.
