PowerPay , a fast-growing financial technology company, is seeking a Collections Specialist to assist our growing team. Successful candidates will be a hard-working driven individual that will be able to assist the Servicing team in customer payments, collections, and review applicant credit reports.
Responsibilities:- Service an assigned portfolio of accounts in a delinquent payment status
- Assist charge-off and collection accounts for homeowners who need payment for loan approval
- Monitor all standard collection procedures according to PowerPay’s policy to minimize loan delinquencies.
- Communicate with customers for collections purposes through outbound calls, email, text, and chat
- Review customer invoices for accuracy
- Willing to help out with other back-end responsibilities and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Must be able to converse with Spanish speaking clients effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years’ collections experience preferred
- Ability to read credit reports highly desired
- Experience working with Google Drive and Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical and negotiating skills
- Demonstrates effective listening skills
