You’ll work hand-in-hand with the expert ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group and your fellow Test Engineers. Plus, you’ll be the bridge to our NPI teams and manufacturing partners, working together to triage failures and keep our OSAT production lines running at peak performance.Your ImpactGet ready to make a major mark! As our Test Engineer, you’ll be the heartbeat of ATE test bring-up, partnering with the Cisco ASIC team to bring up tests, characterize units, and release those programs to production. You’ll spend your time digging into pattern generation and debugging to identify any gaps in coverage while designing and implementing fresh, innovative tests to supercharge our test quality. On top of that, you’ll take the lead with our Tier-1 OSATs to handle high-volume manufacturing tests and squash any quality issues that pop up along the way, ensuring our hardware is nothing short of world-class.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)3+ years’ experience in SOC/VLSI/ bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering.Applied working knowledge of Advantest 93000 tester (Smartest 7 and 8) for characterization and production testing.Experience in writing code in C, C++, Java, 93k test methods, PERL, and Python.Preferred QualificationsExcellent knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art trends in DFT insertion techniques, including Scan, ATPG, JTAG, MBIST, PVT and SerDes. Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction activities. Proven teamwork & collaboration skills. Excellent problem solving & effective conflict resolution skills. An effective multi-functional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and multi-functional leadership to get results and change across organizations up to the executive level.
