Order Entry Clerk

The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering purchase orders and customer returns into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and supporting internal and external stakeholders with order-related information. Process and enter purchase orders and customer returns promptly and accurately Maintain precise records of all transactions Provide customers with information to initiate the Customer Authorization Return process Assist internal stakeholders with inquiries related to data entered in Plex Collaborate with Program Management, Contract Managers, and Accounting to ensure Sales Orders align with Purchase Orders Foster strong working relationships both internally and externally Escalate complex issues to the appropriate person Requirements HS diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP applications Exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communications skills Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization to include managers, co-workers, and external partners Ability to obtain a government clearance, if necessary Sypris Electronics, LLC provides goods and services to the U.S. Government and other prime contractors and is obligated by its contracts with those entities, as well as by various federal laws and regulations regarding security and export control, to restrict access to certain goods, services, and/or any related information.
