Tax Manager

Our client, a growing public accounting and tax advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax preparation, client advisory, and tax planning initiatives for small businesses and individual clients. Responsibilities Prepare and review business and individual tax returns Manage tax engagements from start to finish Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning strategies Review financial statements and supporting documentation Supervise and mentor accounting staff Implement tax reduction and planning strategies for clientsMaintain accurate tax and accounting records Qualifications 6+ years of public accounting and tax preparation experience CPA, EA, or equivalent tax credential strongly preferred Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills Ideal Candidate Has worked in a fast-paced public accounting environment Can independently manage client relationships Possesses strong technical tax expertise and advisory skills Enjoys helping small businesses grow and succeed Compensation Competitive compensation package based on experience.
