Senior Integration Engineer

Kforce is partnering with a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with deep expertise across several key areas, including healthcare EDI configuration, implementation, testing, and ongoing support; claims platform administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring; scripting and automation; AWS infrastructure; and SQL. This individual should also have experience collaborating directly with clients on system implementations and resolving production issues.
- 4-7 years of experience in IT operations or systems engineering
- 2+ years of supporting enterprise application platforms
- 2+ years of hands-on EDI support experience within a healthcare payer or TPA environment
- Proven experience working within AWS, including SFTP integrations, Lambda functions, S3, Transfer Family, and file structure management
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare EDI transaction sets, including 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 999, and 834
- Strong proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
- Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols and data exchange processes
- Exposure to clearinghouses (e.g., Waystar) and staging workflows
- Broad understanding of infrastructure environments (Windows, Linux, and related systems)
- Experience managing file feeds and data integrations with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate technical tasks in partnership with business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with solid troubleshooting and investigative capabilities
- Knowledge of security protocols for electronic data transmissions
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and handling of protected health information (PHI)
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and solving complex issues with limited direction
