We are currently seeking skilled Forklift & Aerial Lift Operators for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals. Note : This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role. Overview Operate forklifts and aerial lifts to transport materials and support shipyard projects. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts to 90ft. Move and stage materials throughout shipyard. Perform pre-use inspections on equipment. Follow shipyard safety and load handling procedures. Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance required. Forklift and Aerial Lift certification required. 2+ years operating forklifts/lifts in industrial settings. Ability to handle heavy loads and work at high heights.
