Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to oncology patients across ages, as assigned on the unit.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor patient responses and document outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop/adjust the nursing care plan using the nursing process with input from patients and significant others.
- Collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team to coordinate timely, safe delivery of care.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to CNA staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice; supervise accordingly.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education to support safe transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Education: completion of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred
- Ability to work in an oncology inpatient setting and to perform 12-hour shifts
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and to document care accurately
