Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology | Marysville, CA | Start 08/10/2026 | 8-week travel assignment | 36 hours per week | Nights, 12-hour shifts | Inpatient oncology care in a high-acuity setting. This travel temporary assignment is represented by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for a defined group of patients during each night shift, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Administer medications and treatments per the medical plan of care, monitor patient responses, and adjust as directed by the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate delivery of care across age ranges as assigned on the unit.
- Incorporate patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and transition care needs into the plan of care.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other licensed staff based on competencies and scope of practice, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately; monitor for changes in condition and respond promptly.

Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in good standing; active licensure appropriate for the state.
- Ability to perform in an inpatient oncology care setting and work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Relevant nursing education from an approved program (RN degree or equivalent).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional oncology-related credentials not specified.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills; comfort with a diverse patient population and age ranges as assigned.
- CNA representation present for this role as noted in job details.
