Microsoft Azure Consulting Sales Executive (Greater Chicago Area)

A worldwide consulting firm is seeking two Microsoft Azure Consulting Sales Executives to join a highly successful organization with specialized consulting teams and products across the Microsoft ecosystem.
The company is one of Microsoft's top resources for client consulting projects and has built an exceptionally strong competitive position. They rarely lose competitive opportunities and have created an environment where strong salespeople can produce substantial earnings.
Chicago is the preferred location for both hires, although exceptional candidates in other cities may be considered.
An important part of the company's success has been its ability to develop people with strong technical knowledge into highly successful sales professionals. Some of its best salespeople came from technical support backgrounds and went on to become top earners, including individuals earning approximately $500,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Microsoft Azure consulting services and related solutions
- Develop new consulting opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Work with specialized consulting and technical teams throughout the sales process
- Compete for and close Microsoft consulting engagements
- Build long-term client relationships around Microsoft Azure and related consulting needs
Qualifications
- Successful experience selling Microsoft consulting, Azure, cloud, or related technology services
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical buyers
- Technical professionals who have successfully transitioned into sales may also be considered
- Chicago-based candidates are strongly preferred, although other locations may be considered
