Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant to lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementations, production support, integrations, payroll process design, and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) , Payroll Control Center (PCC) , SAP CPI , Employee Central , payroll integrations, payroll localization, payroll security, and production support. The consultant will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and technical teams to deliver scalable payroll solutions while ensuring compliance with global payroll regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SuccessFactors ECP Implementation

• Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) implementations from discovery through hypercare.
• Conduct business workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
• Configure payroll processes and system settings.
• Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
• Drive continuous improvements across payroll operations.

Payroll Configuration

Configure and maintain:

• Payroll Control Center (PCC)
• Pay Groups
• Pay Components
• Wage Types
• Payroll Schemas & Rules
• Time Data Replication
• Payroll Calendars
• Off-Cycle Payroll Processing

Process Design & Data Modeling

• Design Employee Central (EC) and ECP business processes.
• Define payroll-related master data structures.
• Configure:

  • Compensation Data
  • Event Reasons
  • Time-Off impacts on Payroll
• Develop scalable payroll process models.

Integration Development

Design and support integrations between:

• Employee Central → Employee Central Payroll
• Employee Central Payroll → SAP S/4HANA / SAP ERP
• Banking Systems
• Time Management Systems
• Benefits Platforms
• Third-party Payroll Vendors

Utilize:

• SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
• Integration Center
• APIs
• File-Based Interfaces

Payroll Compliance

• Support payroll localization for multiple countries.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers where applicable.
• Maintain audit-ready payroll processes.
• Ensure SOX compliance and payroll governance.

Data Migration

• Validate historical payroll results.
• Perform payroll balance reconciliation.
• Validate employee master data.
• Execute parallel payroll runs.
• Perform reconciliation and production verification before go-live.

Testing & Release Management

• Prepare test strategies and execution plans.
• Conduct:
  • Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Regression Testing
• Manage release deployments and cutover activities.
• Coordinate defect resolution and production readiness.

Production Support

• Provide L2/L3 production support.

• Monitor Payroll Control Center alerts.
• Track KPIs and SLAs.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

Security

• Configure Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
• Design payroll security models.
• Secure sensitive payroll and employee information.
• Ensure audit compliance and access governance.

Documentation & Leadership

• Create Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Develop solution design documentation.
• Prepare training materials and user guides.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
• Mentor junior consultants.
• Establish implementation standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience.
• 4-5+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end ECP implementations.
• Expertise in Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI and Integration Center.
• Experience integrating ECP with SAP S/4HANA, Finance, Banking, and Time Management systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and localization.
• Experience with data migration, testing, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
