Process Server

A process server or civil process server is responsible for presenting legal documents to people who are part of a court proceedings; it requires them to be formally informed of the actions.

Documents to be picked up at our main office & scheduled for delivery.

The main duty of a process server is to deliver court case-related documents, to anyone required to testify in court or defendants.

Once the documents get delivered, a notarized affidavit of service or a proof of service is then delivered back to whomever that requested the service, which could be a legal firm or plaintiff. The Process Server will complete a broad variety of tasks for the company including but not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned, that follow legal parameters, may be assigned:

• Serve eviction related notices and documents
• Serve court processes and orders, such as subpoenas and summonses
• Receive papers to be served from magistrate, court clerk, or attorney
• May deliver general messages and documents between courts and attorneys
• Records time and place of delivery
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Due to the nature of the role, a flexible schedule is required
• Must have open availability Monday-Thursday, approximate times from 8am-5pm
• Local travel required
• Reliable transportation required
• PILB Work Card required

Required Experience and/or Certifications:

• Preferably former experience in a process server role. Not necessary.
