Transporter

Transports patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the entire hospital using carts, wheelchairs, and beds. Generally assists technologists/nurses in moving patients to exam tables and ensures communication forms are filled out completely by all staff. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs a variety of clerical activities. Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment.

Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:

- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.

B. Education: None

C. Experience: Prefer some hospital or clinical experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Prior patient care experience desirable.
