We're hiring Record Center Specialists to join a growing team that plays a critical role in managing and protecting important business records for organizations across the Chicago area.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Record Center Specialist, you'll be responsible for organizing, locating, moving, and preparing important records and storage materials while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Your day may include:

Locating and retrieving customer records

Lifting, carrying, and organizing boxes, bins, and totes

Loading and unloading materials onto pallets and carts

Operating handheld scanners to track inventory

Using company systems to process incoming and outgoing orders

Preparing shipments and customer requests

Operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment

Loading and shrink-wrapping pallets

Maintaining accurate inventory records

Helping keep the warehouse organized, safe, and efficient

What You'll Need

✅ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the day

✅ Ability to regularly handle boxes ranging from 10-40 lbs, with some boxes weighing up to 100 lbs

✅ Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and reach during your shift

✅ Ability to climb ladders and safely work at varying heights

✅ Basic computer skills

✅ Ability to read and write English

✅ Comfortable using handheld scanners and inventory systems

✅ Strong work ethic and reliability

✅ Warehouse, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, moving, or material handling experience is a plus

Work Environment

You'll work in a large records management facility responsible for storing important documents and materials for businesses throughout the Chicago area.

This role takes place in a warehouse environment where you may handle older archived records that can be dusty. The facility can become warm during the summer months, but air circulation systems help maintain airflow throughout the building.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.05 - $17.05/hr.
